SKYFIRE New Mobile Browser Optimized for Flash and Ajax

[DEMO 08] SKYFIRE just launched a new mobile browser, and they claim that users can experience the “real Web” now, accessing any Website wit any Web technology, including dynamic Flash, Ajax, Java and more – at the same speed as they do on a PC.

I have to check this as soon as the Demonstration Pavilion opens on Tuesday morning. If I am lucky, I can meet with the Skyfire folks at the opening reception tonight and get a private demo. I want to make sure that the real user experience matches what they claim on paper.

Skyfire features include a multiple engines Web search with results displayed in multiple tabs, a bookmark system that allows users to get back to specific content location on a page in one click, full screen navigation, thumbnails view and zooming/resizing the Web content to fit the screen.

The Skyfire patent-pending technology is claimed to support all Web technologies, both current and future at speeds comparable to the PC. Skyfire is announcing a private beta to support Windows Mobile phones, both touchscreen and non-touchscreen, in the U.S For more information about the company, visit www.skyfire.com. This article will be updated with the link to the demonstration video in the next days.
