Sony DCR-DVD610 Handycam

Sony's DCR-DVD610 DVD Handycam camcorder will come with a built-in zoom microphone that makes it a snap to obtain clearer sound recordings whenever you zoom in on a subject. Not only that, you also get hybrid movie recording with a choice of a Memory Stick PRO Duo media card or a 3" DVD disc. The DCR-DVD610 features a 680K-pixel CCD imager for widescreen video and a powerful 40x Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar zoom in addition to a 2.7" (16:9) wide LCD touch panel screen. To make sure that you don't miss any special moments, the DCR-DVD610 can come out of standby mode in under a second - fast enough for you to permanently record what you want unlike other camcorders that require you to be on your toes all the time just in case an opportunity flies by. The Sony DCR-DVD610 will be available in February for $350, and you can place your pre-order at www.sonystyle.com today.
