Streaming movies to TV coming soon

Netflix and LG Electronics are going to join hands to develop a set-top box for consumers to stream movies in addition to their HDTVs from the Internet, doing away with the need for a PC to act as a middleman. This partnership is tipped to result in a new online home entertainment service via technology that has been embedded in an LG networked player which is planned for sometime in Q3 2008 onwards. Currently, Netflix has a catalog of over 90,000 titles on DVD which are deliver via mail, so to see these stream into your living room would be something worth taking notice when the time comes. Guess the service industry will see less and less people in the future as electronic orders take over the job of the frontline sales person/assistant.
