Toshiba Satellite P205D 17-inch Desktop Replacement
Posted on Jan 7, 08 08:00 AM PDT

The Satellite P205D is beefy enough to replace desktop machines for a large number of PC users. Its 17” display is comfortable enough for productivity tasks or photo-editing. There is ample RAM memory and the hard drive has a decent size. The price is not even prohibitive. No wonder why laptop’s market share keeps growing. It’s not obvious why the average consumer would buy desktop these days.

By today's standards, I would expect a bluray / hd-dvd drive for a laptop dubbed desktop replacement. Perhaps it's the screen resolution that's the focus in this one.
