Vudu Price Drops $100
Posted on Jan 24, 08 09:27 AM PDT

I have been testing the vudu for about one month now and I have positive feelings about it. The $399 price was bugging me but I was glad to see this morning that there was a $100 drop overnight. The vudu now sells for $295, which is a much friendlier consumer price. $400 is sometimes considered to be the psychological limit for mass-market consumer electronics.
For those who don’t know, the vudu is a set-top box that streams (or downloads) rental movies. Prices range from 3.99 for a rental to 19.99 for a purchase. It supports HD movie and has a simple remote that has only 6 buttons. There is no waiting time to watch standard definition movies. vudu.com
