Apple Abandons Its XServe Raid, for the Better

Apple has quietly pulled out from the Enterprise Storage market and will transit its business to Promise (head to the XServe Raid homepage). That market is a cut-throat one and it seems that Apple could better use its personal to do higher margins business. This is not surprising and if anything that’s a good sign – it means that Apple keeps re-evaluating all of its businesses instead of getting complacent.
