Archos 405 Now With 30GB HDD

You might remember that we published about the Archos 405 in September. Back then the device had only 2GB of flash memory, which was a little small to hold videos. A new version is out and it has a 30GB hard disk – 15x the previous capacity.

Here are the other changes from the Flash version:
  • 16M color display
  • Built-in Microphone
  • No SD Slot
  • Better theoretical battery life: 16hrs audio and 5hrs video (versus 12 and 4)
  • 100mm x 78 x 15mm, 190g (bulkier, heavier)
