Asus Triton 79 Cooling Fan
Posted on Feb 28, 08 10:15 AM PDT

Asus has a new cooling fan in town, the Triton 79. This is definitely one of the more stylish fans I have ever laid my eyes on, supporting both Intel Core 2 Extreme/Core 2 Quad Quad-Core and AMD Athlon 64 FX/X2 Dual Core processors, making it ideal for hardware enthusiasts and hardcore gamers. Features include a nickel-plating copper base, a quartet of copper heat pipes, aluminum fins and PWM function. Despite having a 12cm fan, it operates at a relatively low 18dBA which ought not be a problem for most people. Each purchase comes in a deluxe limited edition package that has an ultra-exclusive identification card typed with a limited-edition serial number.

Just bought one for new build, which I am starting tomorrow.
Now I 've got it I'm not sure about installing it because I can't see how I can replace the fan if I need to?
It should be going on a QX9650,the stock cooler of which seems to be overdone with thermal paste.
