Elonex One Laptop
Posted on Feb 18, 08 05:27 PM PDT

Elonex of Britain has released its One laptop that retails for a mere £99. Powered by Linux, this laptop offers all standard creature comforts like a 3-hour battery life, WiFi connectivity, and a flash-based hard drive, all crammed into a hard-wearing case that tips the scales at less than 1kg. Most people will immediately spot parallels with the OLPC project and the Asus Eee, but so far the Elonex One seems to be the cheapest option among all the above mentioned. You'll be contributing to society if you pick one up, since Elonex has pledged to donate one One laptop to underprivileged children for every 100 laptops sold.

That's a great idea to support people by buying Leonox One. I'll immediately order too or even more for a school.
