Feb 13, 08 08:34 AM PDT

Hisense C108 will be the first cell phone in the industry that will utilize Qualcomm MEMS Technologies' mirasol display. The 1.2" mirasol display comes with a 128 x 96 pixels display, working as the main display of the phone while parading information such as text messaging, phone book entries, time and date among others. Additional features of the Hisense C108 include 32MB ROM and 8MB RAM. What's the advantage of a mirasol display? For starters, it utilizes ambient light without the need for backlighting, hence using less power which results in a superior battery life.
