I-O Data USB-RGB-D Dongle
Posted on Feb 20, 08 06:27 PM PDT

For folks who want to make full use of a second monitor with their computer but loathe the idea of forking out even more for a secondary graphics card, I-O Data has the answer for you with its USB-RGB-D device, which is basically a USB to DVI dongle. Plugging this in will allow you to throw in another display at a maximum resolution of 1,680 x 1,050. While it is capable of displaying Vista's Aero interface, it doesn't really do much more than that with the lack of support for HDCP, Open GL and Direct 3D. The I-O Data USB-RGB-D Dongle retails for €95.
