Leica M8 Digital Camera

Leica's M8 digital camera comes with both mechanical and digital components, and will soon be offered an update package - now how about that. You get a sapphire LCD display to go along with the M8, as well as a more silent shutter in exchange for 1,800 clams. The sapphire LCD display is basically scratchproof, unless you happen to have a diamond wrapped around your ring finger. This camera is basically good for a long time since you will be able to reserve update spots at their site, when they'll in turn inform you when to send in your camera. After being shipped to Germany and having new innards fixed along with an updated firmware, you will get a "brand new" camera with the added advantage of an extended 2-year warranty. The sapphire update package will open its doors this March.
