Lenovo ThinkPad X300

You've heard the rumors about the product - here it is in the flesh. Just like the MacBook Air, it is extremely slim in nature thanks to the inclusion of a 64GB solid-state drive along with a 13.3" LED backlit display. I would feel privileged to own this machine.
It kicks the crap out of thin Apple Aire.
It is awesome and functionality unbeknownst to the purveyors of pretty pony gee-gaws with their hairless masculine parts.

That's as ignorant a statement as I've ever seen. You do realize that the Air has *one* USB port, no ethernet port, no optical drive, and *integrated* battery.
The X300 has 3 USB ports, ethernet, optical drive, and wow... guess what.. removable battery! It just so happens to fit inside a manila envelope as well.

It's not nearly as thin as Apple's MacBook Air, it's not 2.5lbs but it is ugly - very ugly. This isn't news. All those buttons and stickers, multiple surfaces and bits sticking out. Nasty.
