Mario Kart Wii Supports 8 Players

Mario Kart multiplayer has always been a gaming high for anyone who has tried it - you will hardly find it boring, since the game always favors the person(s) behind the leader, giving them superior weapons as well as power ups while all the race leader can do is hope to keep projectiles from hitting his rear with a green shell or banana skin. Mario Kart Wii will offer multiplayer gaming as well, this time supporting up to 8 players simultaneously. I wonder whether the DS will see connectivity with this title or not when it comes to multiplayer...
