Nokia Morph Concept
Posted on Feb 25, 08 08:10 AM PDT

Nokia has just rolled out its Morph concept - a long-term concept handset that was joint developed with the folks from the University of Cambridge. This cell phone is based on nanotechnology developments that could be very real in future products, and has been split into a couple of devices consisting of a detachable speaker that either clips onto the ear as a headset or connects to the main phone as a speaker. As for the phone itself, it utilizes nanotechnology to bring a touch screen display that is both translucent and flexible. Perhaps future iterations on the Morph will see a self-cleaning touch screen display, making pesky fingerprints a thing of the past. Nokia claims that certain components in its Morph concept will ship in products within the next seven years - I'm keeping my fingers crossed on this.
