All you need to do is pour some water into the rear end of the clock and you're good to go, getting the time, month and date display at a glance. This is made possible thanks to an integrated energy converter that will turn water into steady electric currents that will subsequently power the clock. On the bright side, there is even enough room for you to place a flower stalk just to brighten up the surroundings. At $16.95, this is definitely one of the more interesting alarm clocks we have ever come across.

I got this for my little sister last year and she loved it! it's still working (without batteries) today.
