Rumor: iPhone and iPod Touch Price Cuts?
Posted on Feb 11, 08 03:37 PM PDT

The word on the street is that Apple will cut the price of both devices by as much as $100 just when it holds an Apple Special Event (also a rumor) at the end of February.
Apple would also drop the 8GB iPod Touch and retail only 16GB and 32GB versions. Obviously this is just a rumor for now, but the logic behind it is that many believe that Apple need to make room for the upcoming 3G iPhone that would arrive in May or June. We believe that this is a probable date for the new iPhone.
Is a $299 iPhone going to spark another “early adopter outrage”? (They paid $599 less than a year ago)
If you are an early adopter: would you be outraged?

If I were an early adopter it would be my own damn fault. Everyone knows new tech comes at a premium.
