SmartGuide Concept

The SmartGuide power drill concept is definitely something worth thinking about, especially for folks who can't seem to use a power drill properly while spoiling the entire surface. It utilizes a couple of interset rings which collapse in on each other to keep your drill bit straight without straying away. I wonder when will someone make a Smart Hammer that knows how to hit a nail on its head truly and accurately without injuring any thumbs in the process.

This is an extremely stupid idea. The dust collected gets around the turning mechanism and will destroy your drill in no time.
THere are much better solutions available, since many years.. the simplest one is a little plastic bag you drill through.. the bag collecting all the dust.

They do have a smart hammer... It's called a nail gun.
