Tankpitstop Robotic Arm
Posted on Feb 5, 08 08:18 AM PDT

While many gas stations have long introduced the self-service model, folks in the Netherlands could soon need not lift a finger to keep their vehicles refueled thanks to the Tankpitstop robotic arm. This unique invention relies on its array of sensors and a car database in order to hone in and open a car's gas flap, do the needful and fill up the vehicle. Unfortunately, the implementation cost is extremely high as each Tankpitstop robotic arm retails for $111,100. Just make sure your ride is under the list of approved cars, lest the robotic arm leaves undesirable scratches on your shiny new vehicle.
