The washing machine concept known as "Tian Chi" will definitely liven up your laundry days - it comes equipped with a top loading trap door that also functions as a basketball hoop. While you don't dunk any actual balls inside, at least it allows you the freedom of throwing those socks and shirts through the pseudo-hoop without interrupting the wash cycle.
