WiFi Laptop Tracking Security App

A firm from the UK claims to have developed a WiFi laptop tracking security application that is smart enough to destroy data within whenever it moves beyond the network . This sounds pretty interesting, but the impact of it on an absent-minded employee could be disastrous. Imagine carrying all your company's secrets on the laptop and bringing it home with you by accident, only to be greeted by General Failure and his mindless messages. I kid - there are probably enough failsafes in the system to prevent something like this happening, and only theft would be a legitimate excuse whenever data magically disappears. This application will cost GBP10 monthly for set up and subscription purposes. A future GPS-enabled connection is in the works that claims to destroy data and get photos of the culprits even without WiFi.
