Cycle Odometer
Mar 25, 08 09:17 AM PDT

Have you ever wondered just how many miles you have clocked up on that bicycle of yours? Well, wonder no more with the Cycle Odometer. By installing this gadget on your two-wheeler, you no longer need to take the traditional method of driving around in your car to keep count of the number of miles you have cycled, as it is more than able to measure the speed, distance, trip time, and wheel rotation frequency in addition to being a clock (choose from 12 or 24 hour display). The Cycle Odometer will retail for $14 each.

Why is this worth a mention? It's just a minimal bicycle computer. There are lots of other models you can buy on sale for anywhere from $7 up. This might have been news in maybe the late 1970s, when the first electronic cyclocomputers came out. In 2008, it's neither innovative nor especially cheap.
