Dell Has New Latitudes

Dell is packing some serious tech in its new Latitude E-series line, with the E6400 an E6500 spearheading the cause. Both of these models will be the first in their class that feature LED-backlit displays, where the 14" E6400 has a 1,440 x 900 resolution while the 15.4" E6500 comes with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200. You can also opt to include a 256MB NVIDIA graphics card for all your gaming and entertainment needs while taking a break from all that office work. The option to include a GPS receiver is there as well, along with Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity and "next-generation" wide-area wireless Internet (no idea on whether this will be WiMAX or HSPA). More details to come as Dell prepares these systems for a June launch.
