e-Snake Electric Tilting Scooter
Mar 24, 08 07:02 PM PDT

The e-Snake electric tilting scooter is powered by lithium ion batteries and features dual rear in-hub electric motors that make it capable of reaching a top speed of 31 mph. It recently participated in the Formula Electric and Hybrid Italy 2007 student competition and was awarded top spot for acceleration and speed. Each charge offers you up to 62 miles of travel, and is pretty hefty at 357 pounds. I suppose future iterations (if there are plans for one) must see the load lighten in order to maximize the mileage. Doesn't look as though the Hell's Angels will be using this anytime soon though.
