Gateway Notebooks Updated
Mar 13, 08 06:42 PM PDT

Gateway, a company under the Acer umbrella, has unassumingly updated a couple of its mainstay notebooks while introducing another Penryn-based model. The M-151X and M-151XL have been given a speed boost, with the latter featuring a 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo with the larger 3MB Level 2 cache and better battery life, shipping with 3GB of RAM and a massive 250GB hard drive. In addition, you will be able to enjoy decent portable gaming with the 256MB Mobility Radeon HD 2400 XT video card, having HDMI output and 802.11n to round off the list of improvements. The middle-class M-151X has everything the M-151XL has except for a slower 1.66GHz Core 2 Duo processor and 2GB of RAM. The M-151X and M-151XL will retail for $1,000 and $1,300 respectively.
