Krank Light-weight Lamp
Posted on Mar 2, 08 09:51 PM PDT

The Krank light-weight lamp is a concept design from Efrain E. Velez of the US, who gained inspiration from an old-fashioned mechanical drill from the days of yore. This manual device relies on the principle of magnetic induction, where you 'krank' the handle to agitate the magnet. The surrounding copper coil will then generate electricity to power the LEDs within for up to an hour - all this from a single minute of working that 'krank'. The entire lamp comes with a fully recyclable body constructed from aluminum parts, and since it is lightweight, you won't place any stress on your bookshelves and other fragile home trappings in the living room.
