Microsoft Goes Spherical With Surface
Posted on Mar 5, 08 05:17 PM PDT

Word has it that Microsoft has managed to cobble together a Surface-enabled computer that comes complete with a spherical display. This is a pretty interesting development, as that would mean we can kiss goodbye to ugly yet traditional square-and-rectangular designs of yore. One practical application that rolls off my head? Having a fully interactive globe that will certainly make geography a whole lot more fun to learn at school.
