There is word released regarding plans for the Dell Latitude XT that is tipped to arrive sometime this November, shipping with the latest Intel Montevina chipset - also known as Centrino 2 for those who are less crazy about code names. I have just bought a latitude XT, cracking piece of kit.
Pros: Dual input screen Build quality, LED backlight, pen functions, i/o ports, battery life good, not as good as a lenovo though, 45w travel charger is good. Touchpad is excellent.
Cons: No latch (everyone commented on this) pen can eject and cause embarassement, hard to find batteries etc if you don't buy them at the outset, media slice is good but pricey and should have one more USB at least at the rear.
