Rumor: T-Mobile in Canada in 2009?
Mar 11, 08 08:20 PM PDT

This information comes from The Boy Genius Report and has not been confirmed yet. A financing and protocol agreement has been pre-approved which will allow Deutsche Telekom to launch T-Mobile in Canada in 2009. Rogers is the only GSM network provider in Canada, and with T-Mobile entrance into the game, prices are expected to plunge in the Canadian market. The German carrier is supposed to offer an unlimited BlackBerry plan for $75 a month to the Canadian market. T-Mobile’s HTC handsets and Sidekick line of products will be part of the offering as well.
