Starfleet Communicator

Star Trek fans can now live out their fantasies with the Starfleet Communicator courtesy of ThinkGeek. This replica unfortunately falls short from my expectations - couldn't they just have made this into some sort of two-way communications device? Instead, it is littered with blinking lights and sounds from the 1960s, with a "Hailing" feature which allows you to receive a call from the Enterprise a few seconds later after pressing a particular button. $29.99 will net you more than 20 phrases and sound effects from the original Star Trek universe, along with some samples from the TV show itself.
