NTT DoCoMo of Japan has proudly declared that they have successfully field tested a Super 3G wireless network which is capable of achieving downlink speeds of up to 250Mbps - that's excellent considering the technology's theoretical maximum of 300Mbps for downlink and 75Mbps for uplink. The technology will only be finalized in 2009, so in the mean time you will have to make do with paltry one-digit connection speeds.
