Getting lost in a care home isn’t all that hard, but you can imagine that it can happen quite often to those who are being taken care of. Technical college student have come up with this Zimmer Frame that is equipped with a navigation system in the form of a tablet. It does not reply on GPS satellites signal because they don’t penetrate buildings – instead, WiFi is what provides the location to the tablet. A route is then displayed in a simple manner to the patient/user. The user interface contains five buttons, like “toilet” or “coffe”.
