Zune To Arrive In Europe
Mar 13, 08 07:01 PM PDT

Since the Zune is already in its second iteration and has not yet seen action in Europe, word from Microsoft France’s Francois Ruault has ignited fresh hope that the continent will see Microsoft's struggling portable media player cross the Atlantic sometime in late 2009. Before you start groaning about just how long that is to wait for an outdated PMP (by then anyway), I bring good news. The Zune release then will involve a third generation Zune, so Europeans can expect to be on par with everyone else when it comes to the Zune next year. No idea on pricing though.

Nice try however, I think it's too little too late Europe has loads of portable players, most of which are far less restrictive (file type etc).
It's not like they are even "cool" anymore
