Alienware Area-51 m17x

Alienware has just rolled out its Area-51 m17x gaming notebook, bringing more to the table than you always expect in typical Alienware fashion. Targeting PC gamers, 3D content creators and multi-media enthusiasts, the Area-51 m17x is no slouch when it comes to performance, being one of the fastest Alienware notebooks to date thanks to an Intel Core 2 Extreme processor that chugs along happily with dual, SLI-enabled NVIDIA GeForce 8800M GTX GPUs. Granted, battery life won't be long on this notebook so you'd best use this within the confines of civilization. Other features include :-

  • 500GB mobile hard drive
  • Dual drive configuration in RAID 0 array
  • 500GB Smart Bay Drive
  • Alienware Command Center control panel
  • 17" display
  • 802.11 Draft-N connectivity
Prices start from $2,199 upwards.
