Bionic Eyes Could Be Realized
Posted on Apr 21, 08 06:34 PM PDT

Creating a bionic eye is no mean feat, but that doesn't mean it is impossible. Apparently, we might not need any more miracles in the future for the blind to see as researchers in London are currently carrying out the first treatment on a pair of patients using new technology, where its bionic eyes are hooked up to a camera and a pair of glasses. They won't allow for crystal clear sight, but lets patients to see light and dark outlines. Still, that's a start and one will have to remain strapped down but I am sure in due time an all-in-one model will be able to be achieved. Better light and dark outlines than no vision at all, I say. When will full HD versions be out, I wonder?
