David Beckham Gets Gold iPod
Posted on Apr 2, 08 06:27 PM PDT

Although England lost in the recent friendly against France where David Beckham picked up his magical 100th cap, he can always console himself with a gold iPod thanks to his multi-million dollar earning colleagues in the Three Lions team. This 32GB personalized version features the engraving "DAVID BECKHAM - For his 100th England Cap" to keep for all posterity, although I'm pretty sure he'd much prefer the golden lure of the World Cup in two years' time, assuming he still has the legs for it. This iPod cost £600, and woe to him should he fail to copy a single track from his wife's back catalogue of music. After all, 32GB is more than enough to go round.

I think of a couple of words to describe people who would willfully buy one of these.
