Slacker Portable owners will soon be able to gain easier access to WiFi no matter where they are, thanks to Devicescape's Connect application which is, in essence, a WiFi hotspot manager that enables one to register usernames and/or passwords online, only to have the software hook up automatically whenever it is within range. Existing Slacker Portable users can perform a station refresh in order to download Devicescape's Connect application, while those who are about to take the Slacker plunge ought to keep a keen eye out for it to be pre-installed with your purchase.
