DIY Moped is Air-Powered

No, this Puch moped isn't just hot air as it is capable of getting you around without consuming any fuel. Heck, you don't even need to exert that much energy as it runs on air instead of clogging up our environment even more by burning additional fossil fuels. The performance specifications isn't too much to shout about though, as it has a maximum range of 7 miles and a top speed of 18 mph, but thanks to a pair of carbon-fiber air cylinders and two rotary air engines, it pretty much gets you up and about in a city. The only downside to this system is you need clean air to run it, be prepared to fork out around $5 to $6 a bottle (the quality of the air inside is the equivalent of those found in diving cylinders).

surely, if there was an accident or you were clipped by a car carrying compressed air with the valves placed on the side (as I think they are in this picture), this would be somewhat dangerous to use on roads. Or if you could hold on and keep the bike pointing in the right direction you could make very short journeys very quickly! ;)
