Engine Block looks like NES Controller
Posted on Apr 22, 08 11:15 AM PDT

Talk about paying homage to the NES console - this engine block has been customized to look like the NES controller, guaranteed to get your mechanic laughing if he/she is a Nintendo fanboy from old. While it isn't too hard to come up with such a custom designed cover, the heart of the matter is the matter of the heart and Zooie (the car's owner) is certainly full of Nintendo love.

even if it was real, it would be a valve cover, not the block, getting any car engine block into the shape or appearance of an NES controller would be impressive

Real, not photoshopped. Look at it, the d pad and buttons are flat, and you can't see the start and select buttons. If it was fake the controller would look more real

That's not shopped. How hard is it to paint a plastic cover.

I may be being a bit pedantic but that's not not an engine "block" cover. Engine cover maybe, but the block is already covered by the cylinder head and rocker cover.

It's a cover, it's not part of the engine itself. it's real, though it's just a cover.

you are all dumbasses, it's obvious that the only thing real in this pic is the controller. the car and road are photoshopped. duh.

Although I think this looks real... that guy wrote [to] "photoshop it" would take far more effort than it would be worth.... Not really I could do it in maybe 5 minutes.

why must some people feel the need to be superior and say everything that takes more skill then they have is photoshopped???

I am so tired of people not understanding that the utterance of "photoshopped" simply makes them look dumber. Just because you cannot do something does not mean that nobody can. Look a little harder, you can clearly see the wiring going into and out of the shell. You ever even opened a NES controller? They sure don't look anything like that, and to "photoshop it" would take far more effort than it would be worth. Appreciate the cool things you can see on the net and start having a little faith in people.

Yes, plastic cover looks like controller. Block isn't really visible. Dumbass.

The block hasn't been modified, just the plastic cover.
