HPI GR-001 G-Robot hits US

American shores are about to be invaded by robots, but thankfully these won't be able to knock down buildings and cause general havoc. Instead, the HPI GR-001 G-Robot boasts 20 motors which can be individually programmed to follow every command. Controlled by a controller that looks more at home connected to a console, the G-Robot can also be directed via your computer and the included animation software. It will take approximately 2 hours to assemble the GR-100 for the average person, but if you find yourself helpless when faced with schematics or diagrams each time, be prepared to get outside help. One thing that will definitely put people off the HPI GR-001 G-Robot - its $2,400 price tag.
