In-flight Calling Trial By Air France
Posted on Apr 3, 08 09:50 AM PDT

Air France has already entered into the second phase of its in-flight calling experiment, where its OnAir-equipped Airbus A318 will not only be able to send / receive messages and e-mail, it is also capable of making and receiving calls at 30,000 feet in the air. Just make sure you are rocking to some sort of international roaming plan, as the bill can quickly balloon to an exorbitant amount if you're not too careful with the length of your conversations. There is no word on pricing, but chances are it will cost you an arm, a leg and possibly even a kidney when available.
