Microsoft To Roll Out Cheap Laptop
Apr 15, 08 09:46 PM PDT

Guess cheap laptops are all the rage these days, with Microsoft teaming up with India's HCL Infosystems to develop the cheapest Windows latop in the world. You will get sub-par hardware specifications such as a 30GB hard drive (bummer) with enough muscle to run Windows XP Home Edition while being capable of surfing the Internet via broadband. At $425 a pop, you can tell that a pretty hefty chunk of the price will go to the Windows license alone. Will the Eee PC start quaking in its boots just yet? I think not.
