NEC will be selling its Lui PC from next week onwards, bringing a computer that tunes into digital HDTV broadcasts while being able to stream both live and recorded programs as long as your TV is compatible. The Lui can be classified as a DVR of sorts that has been merged with a PC in a single, large case. It is meant to sit pretty in the living room right next to a TV while functioning as a central server for multimedia content. Features of this Windows Vista Premium-powered PC include dual terrestrial HDTV tuners, a single HDTV satellite tuner, up to 1TB of hard drive space, 2GB RAM, an Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz processor and ATI's Mobility Radeon HD2600 graphics card. NEC has slapped a $3,753 price tag for the high-end model, but think of the possibilities and magic it can perform in your living room!
