Psystar Apple Mac Clone

Strange to see Psystar from Florida announce an Apple Mac Clone which retails for a mere $399.99, but unfortunately for the rest of the masses the site is currently down. No idea if this is due to a massive traffic spike or having Apple's highly efficient legal eagles make their move. The Mac Clone has so far been given the following hardware treatment :-

  • Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2GHz processor
  • 250GB hard drive
  • 2GB RAM
To say that Apple hates clones is an understatement, but chances are Psystar's efforts will never see the light of day.

well, actually, they have seen the light of day. It's been a week and Apple has not so much as uttered a peep!
