Getting booked for speeding is one of the more frustrating moments in life, and it teaches a(n expensive) lesson to those who love reaching their destination in record time. The Road Angel Professional Connected helps sniff out speed traps, ensuring you save a fair bit in the long run if you're a constant traveler.
The real party piece here is the fact that this unit downloads all its database updates automatically, without the need for hooking up to a computer. This means that you're simply always up to date, and you're unlikely to come across a camera that the Road Angel hasn't warned you about. The ability to tell other users when a camera van is parked up is also a great and very satisfying feature. If you haven't used a camera detector before, the asking price and the ongoing subscription cost may seem a little steep. However, compared to getting a fine, points on your license and an increased insurance premium, that cost is minimal.
The Road Angel Professional Connected will retail for £299.99, and monthly charges to its database will cost you another £4.99

I don't know why anyone would bother to buy one of these. For less cash you can buy a SatNav which does everything this does, plus it's a SatNav! Must be marketed towards cars that already have built in SatNav?
