Sanyo Pro-200, 700 Head For Sprint

Sprint will be carrying two new Sanyo handsets later this month - the Pro-200 and Pro-700. The main attractions for these handsets are push-to-talk access as well as Mobile Broadband, thanks to EVDO Rev. A support. The Pro-200 comes in a clamshell form factor, featuring Bluetooth connectivity as well as e-mail and text messaging support. As for the higher end Pro-700, that is but a similarly designed cell phone as with the Pro-200, save for the addition of more rugged specifications which conform to military standards, scoffing in the face of dust, shock and extreme vibration. The Pro-200 and Pro-700 will retail for $70 and $50 after a mail-in $50 rebate and a new 2-year agreement.
