Think Electric Car Headed for US
Posted on Apr 24, 08 09:55 PM PDT

Norwegian Automaker Think Global will be selling its Think electric car in the US. For the uninitiated, the Think is able to travel up to 110 miles without the need to recharge its batteries, hitting a top speed of 65mph and is 95% recyclable. Two venture capital firms have already been targeted by Think to build the cars in Southern California, hoping to sell around 30,000 to 50,000 of such vehicles annually at $25, 000 each. Perfect for city use, but I don't think I'd feel too safe in one of these for interstate travel.

All I can say is "it's about time!". I would buy one in a heartbeat if I had a long commute to work. Even if I didn't, it would be my car of choice. It wouldn't hurt to slow down on the highways and take a little more time to get where we want to go. Unfortunately, until we all get mad enough to want better, things will not change.

Its a great idea, and will sell better than hotcakes in the U.S. Keep it up!

Finally! I salute those brave engineers and designers who somehow avoided the oil companies' hit men. Let's bring and end to fossil fuel use or collectively perish.

The car looks great for a city car. Just the right size, as long as it has a good a/c unit for hot climates. Oh, and another thing; if I
read about another chicken little saying," they dont feel safe in a car this size, I have some advise little boy. You better run home to mama because your pantys are wet. Thank God you were not around during Americas founding era, as you would be labeled a school yard sissy. Go home your mommys calling. You must be working for the oil companys in America.
