VRINGO: importing friends photos from Facebook to the mobile phone
Posted on Apr 1, 08 03:54 PM PDT

Yesterday Vringo, the visual ringtones service, announced its new Facebook application that allows users to import their facebook friends photos to their mobile phone and automatically matching them to the right phone numbers. Then the photos will appear as a visual caller ID. That’s cool! It is available now for BlackBerry and Windows Mobile phones (version 6).
The application can be downloaded from Facebook at http://apps.facebook.com/vringofb/. For now, you must get an invitation to be able to download the app on your mobile device from the Vringo website, then you will have to provide your phone number to use it. We will test it later today, I will publish an update with the app review.
