Xbox 360 To Get Wiimote Equivalent?

Word on the street has it that Microsoft will be rolling out form of Nintendo's Wiimote for the Xbox 360 before the year is over, according to a developer who has been working on the project for quite some time already. If this news proves to be true, we could see the Nintendo Wii's sales drop while the Xbox 360's currently stable figures start to rise up the charts. After all, who wouldn't want the ease of use of the Wiimote with the graphical firepower of the Xbox 360? The only thing left for Microsoft to do then would be to coax developers as good as Nintendo (if any) to come up with some stunning intellectual property instead of just making their current batch of games backwards compatible with "waggle" controls.
