Cowon A3 gets Memory Bump
May 19, 08 03:16 AM PDT

Cowon's A3 portable media player has finally received an overdue memory upgrade, where its 30GB and 60GB models will be joined by a spanking new 80GB model. While that amount of storage space is commendable, it is actually what the previous generation iPod offered, with the new range of iPod classics hitting double that number. Ah well, I guess the issue of space isn't really relevant when you hit the high GB figures, since you won't have the battery life to play every single piece of media inside on a single go. The only inconvenience would be having a smaller portable hard drive as well as requiring you to perform file housekeeping more often. How much for this upgraded Cowon A3, you ask? Well, it is sitting on a €448 price point.
